I am running for County Executive to provide proven fiscal conservative leadership and experience for Outagamie County citizens. My successful record includes being Wisconsin’s State Treasurer for 12 years, Appleton City Alderman for 10 years, small business owner of Voight Insurance Agency since 1974, and US Army Vietnam veteran. As your State Treasurer, I “did more with less” for the citizens of Wisconsin and Appleton, while maintaining vital public programs and services. I returned over $100 million of unclaimed property, improved the $2 billion college savings program-Edvest and reduced operational costs at the State Treasurer’s Office.

For The Future…

As County Executive, I will focus on reducing county costs without increasing your county property tax levy, creating jobs, and business growth with smart economic development. I support the professional county services/programs of administration, public safety and justice, health and human services, highways, airport, and recreation. Your ideas and input are important in this election. My pledge to you is that when elected, I will professionally manage county government in an effective and efficient manner.
